The paper describes the process of formation of a minor teacher – an autonomic teacher who expresses her educational wishes and feelings as she undergoes an ongoing process of growth and change with her students in the classroom. The insights into the formation of a minor teacher were collected from an experiential M.Ed. course that was held in 2010/11 at Kaye Academic College of Education. The learning environment mimicked evolutionary educational edges that are open and nomadic by nature, and thus the emerging cannot be predicted. Rather, it depends on the intertwined dynamics of the activities and the discourse within the collaborating group. The legitimacy for drawing attention to a minor teacher resonates with the call, for inquiry into the complexity of teaching and into the unique subjectivities of teachers as an alternative to research that focuses on generalizations and classifications. The legitimation and respect accorded individual minor teachers has the potential to subvert common and accepted conceptions of ‘being a teacher ׳ toward multiple educational worlds.
